Super Moist Vanilla Cake 

Simply the best vanilla cake with a moist and fluffy texture!

Cake: - Self-raising flour + baking   powder + salt - Butter - Castor sugar - Eggs - Milk - Vanilla extract

What you need:

Buttercream: - Powdered sugar - Butter - Vanilla extract - Milk (optional) - Food coloring

What you need:

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy for approximately 2 minutes. Scrape the sides of the bowl.

Add the eggs in, one at a time, beating well after each addition until all the traces of the eggs are no longer visible.

Fold in the flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk.  Start and end with the dry ingredients.

Add vanilla.  Pour batter into prepared tins and bake for 40 - 45 minutes.  Cool completely before decorating.

To make the buttercream, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Add vanilla and continue beating.  Add some milk if the consistency is too stiff.

Remove a few tablespoons of buttercream into 3 different bowls.  Tint each with pink, peach and green food color.

Level each cake layer. Spread buttercream between each layer and stack the layers up.

Crumb coat the cake followed by another layer of buttercream all over. Use a palette knife to make buttercream waves on the cake.

Fill the pink icing into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.  Pipe random rosettes on the cake. Repeat with the peach icing, followed by green leaves.

Complete the cake with a simple piping of bead border all around.
